Bathroom lighting

Following the very sad demise of my World’s Away Moravian Star Pendant Light  (thanks, movers :/), I’m toying with the idea of soldering the leftover pyramid shaped pieces into a geometric crystal-inspired cover for the fixture in the bathroom. Maybe a thick wire wrapped through and around for a little extra support?

Here’s what I’m starting with, and the very early stages of the thought process. The light itself is incredibly bright, and kind of overbearing, so I’m thinking the antique mirrored glass would really tone it down and bring a nice softness to the area.

Kind of a smokey-topaz-quartz inspired fixture. I think it will bring out the purple-y gray I had matched to the existing paint downstairs. Hopefully it will tie it all together and I can rid myself of the neon green bathroom with fluorescent lighting 🙂
